Through cooperation with UVET, a fruit supplier successfully implemented UV LED curing technology in fruit inkjet label printing. The supplier, handling a significant volume of fruit production and sales annually, adopted this technology to enhance product quality and brand image, achieving remarkable improvements. Improving Printing Efficiency Traditional inkjet label printing requires a separate heating and drying process after printing to cure the ink. ❌ Challenges with Traditional Printing: ✅ UV LED Curing Solution:By integrating a UV ink curing lamp into their digital inkjet printing machine, the supplier eliminated the extra heating and drying step. Results:✔ Reduced curing time per label from 15s → 1s✔ Increased production efficiency Enhancing Label Quality A comparative analysis of label quality after printing was conducted by the fruit supplier. The traditional digital printing technique resulted in issues such as ink blooming and blurry text on fruit labels, with a proportion of approximately 12% experiencing these problems. However, after upgrading to UV LED printing, this proportion decreased to less than 2%.
